Shameless Roaring

Maddy, of Whitterer on Autism, has awarded me this purple lion, symbol of the "Roar For Powerful Words" award. The award is a project of the Shameless Lions Writing Circle and is meant to be given to “those people who have blogs we love, can’t live without, where we think the writing is good and powerful.”

Thank you, Maddy. I am honored to be included and have enjoyed exploring the blogs associated with the writing circle. I hereby pass the lion (available in several color choices here) to five bloggers whose writing I find powerful and necessary. My choices are:

1. Amanda of Ballastexistenz.
2. Miss Crip Chick's Weblog.
3. Chewing the Fat by Dave Hingsburger.
4. Existence is Wonderful by Anne C.
5. Mary P Jones at A Room of Mama's Own.
The Award rules also state that each winner should list three elements essential to good writing. As I have always identified with another type of lion, I am choosing 1) a brain (any type), 2) heart, and 3) courage (known or unknown to the possessor).

  1. Yipee! I'll nip along to the two I don't already know about!

This is my calling card or link"Whittereronautism"until blogger comments get themselves sorted out.

  2. Bev, I admire your blog and your writing so much that hearing that you think my writing is powerful makes me feel like I've just won a Nobel prize. Thank you.

  3. Wow, thanks. (I'm about to go to bed and I don't have a lot of words right now but I did want to acknowledge receipt of this!)

  4. Congratulations, Bev! Well-deserved.

  5. Congrats to you, Bev. Your continually inspiring words and graphics are a joy to read always.

  6. Congratulations Bev. You deserved it.

Squawk at me.
