Shameless Roaring

Maddy, of Whitterer on Autism, has awarded me this purple lion, symbol of the "Roar For Powerful Words" award. The award is a project of the Shameless Lions Writing Circle and is meant to be given to “those people who have blogs we love, can’t live without, where we think the writing is good and powerful.”

Thank you, Maddy. I am honored to be included and have enjoyed exploring the blogs associated with the writing circle. I hereby pass the lion (available in several color choices here) to five bloggers whose writing I find powerful and necessary. My choices are:

1. Amanda of Ballastexistenz.
2. Miss Crip Chick's Weblog.
3. Chewing the Fat by Dave Hingsburger.
4. Existence is Wonderful by Anne C.
5. Mary P Jones at A Room of Mama's Own.
The Award rules also state that each winner should list three elements essential to good writing. As I have always identified with another type of lion, I am choosing 1) a brain (any type), 2) heart, and 3) courage (known or unknown to the possessor).
