The Concession

  1. ... and then there's the absolute perseverating ...

  2. Reminds me of Koplewicz: "It has never been proven that psychiatric disorders are parents’ fault."

Talk about "poisoning the well." Now, if these goons could just ram through some legislation to criminalize parents who teach their kids critical thinking skills, then manipulative idiots would rule the world!

    Oh, wait...

  3. Like all great cartoonists, you create little gems with elegent simplicity.

    Thank you.

  4. Excellent! and so, so true. I love your cartoons. They're spot on every time.

  5. Everyone seems to be concerned with the mercury in thimerosal that was in vaccines and in still in the flu vax.

What I don't see people talking about where the mercury really is.
FDA / EPA What You Need to Know About Mercury in Fish and Shellfish - March 2004

I was a dockmaster. I ran the fish weighstation and was in charge of all the EPA and Fish and Inland Game documentation as part of my duties.

Mercury has climbed the food chain, which is how it works, small creatures eaten by larger and more long lived ones create greater toxicity as time and consumption go by. Other toxins can do the same such as DDT.

I see these mercury obsessed parents perseverating over vaccines but no mention whatsoever from Jenny McCarthy about all the tuna and salmon she and her son have eaten not to mention lead from paint and diesel fuels that are/were used to excess in California. Cities like LA and NYC have literally tons of lead in the air alone.

I don't know what causes Autism with mental retardation. British doctors think aging parents having children is a contributor.

I cannot take anyone who puts the whooobeee out about vaccinations seriously if they are still eating ocean caught fish.

Oh, and how about those compact lightbulbs? Yeah, they too contain mercury. Methyl not ethyl. More toxic than a flu shot.

    Thought provoking post, thanks~

  6. You can say so much, so easily.

  7. Cool cartoon!

I just stumbled across your blog, and am really impressed. I wasn't aware of the complexity of autism spectrum disorders/Asperger's until recently, when I read John Elder Robison's "Look Me in the Eye" (chronicling his struggle with Asperger's syndrome). If you're interested, you can find it on Amazon:

  8. HaHa...this is so funny! But true!

  9. Maybe we should call it the "Spin Stim".

And they say they have no autistic traits in the family...

  10. Bev, I loved you play with words. "spin" lol

Squawk at me.
