We googled 8 and have found all kinds of fun things (including Bev and her website).

(For those that don't know, my little girl's special interests are 8 and purple; she's 4. Oh, she likes 8 because it is "perfect" upside down, too. And also with her synesthesia, 8 is the only purple number.)

So excited about the posters I'm going to hang!

- Missy (and Caden)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5794893825407092443.post-77852382366314967522007-11-11T22:09:00.000-04:002007-11-11T22:09:00.000-04:00Yup, Sesame Street. :) We have it on the "What's ...Yup, Sesame Street. :) We have it on the "What's the Name of that Song" video. Can still picture Small One at two, running around like crazy to that song: "Eights! Eights! Eights! Eightseightseightseightseights! Eeeeiiiiights!!"

Schoolhouse Rock is on DVD! My brother and I saw the segments on Saturday mornings between cartoons; he liked the "Three Is a Magic Number" song best, by far. (The refrain goes, "3 6 9 ... 12 15 18 ...") Couple (er, or more) decades later, I found the Schoolhouse Rock DVD for Small One after he'd gone so crazy about the "8 Balls of Fur" song. His instant favorite over-and-over-and-over-again song? Yup.

Anyway, glad y'all like this!

Marie S.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5794893825407092443.post-84717038620124234982007-11-11T19:54:00.000-04:002007-11-11T19:54:00.000-04:00Yup I was going to say 20 years ago too, but it's ...Yup I was going to say 20 years ago too, but it's probably more like 35 - Eek!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5794893825407092443.post-25491217628756122472007-11-11T19:12:00.000-04:002007-11-11T19:12:00.000-04:00that has to be sesame street.Does anyone else reme...that has to be sesame street.

Does anyone else remember schoolhouse rocks?
